Musée du Masque - Immersion

The Mask Museum in Binche wanted to offer its visitors a unique, immersive experience of the famous Binche Carnival, recognized by UNESCO as a masterpiece of humanity's oral and intangible heritage. To fulfill this ambition, the museum collaborated with our team to produce the film "IMMERSION". The aim of this project is to immerse viewers in the fascinating world of the Binche Carnival, by letting them experience a day in the life of a Gille de Binche.

The main challenge of this project was to capture the essence and magic of the Binche Carnival in an immersive and authentic way. Carnival is a centuries-old tradition rich in color, sound and emotion, and it was crucial to convey this complexity to the museum's audience. We also had to respect and honor local traditions and customs, while using modern cinematographic techniques for total immersion.
